Sample evenings
- Sunset wine and tapas, 2.5 to 3 hours: board before sunset, a welcome toast, tapas and charcuterie around Miami Beach and the islands, dessert as the lights come on.
- Chef’s table, 3 to 4 hours: several courses with pairings, seated on deck or in the saloon, toasts between courses and slow cruising for comfort.
- After-dinner champagne, 2 hours: board after your restaurant for champagne, sweets and the skyline.
- Full evening, 4 to 5 hours: bites, courses and dessert on a route from sunset into night.
Menus, wine and dietary needs
Choose the service, passed bites, family-style, plated courses, a buffet or stations, then the menu: seafood-forward Miami cooking, a steakhouse menu, Mediterranean flavours or something lighter. Wine runs from crowd-pleasing house bottles to a list for serious drinkers, with classic cocktails, spritzes and zero-proof options; a group that does not drink can have a mocktail and dessert cruise. Vegetarian, pescatarian, gluten-conscious, kosher-style and allergy-aware menus are planned in advance, so send restrictions early. Your favourite restaurant or chef can often cater; otherwise add a private chef or yacht catering.
Guests, price and booking
A private yacht seats up to 13; the bigger yachts have a saloon table out of the wind, and a dinner for more books an event yacht from large group yacht charters in Miami. Each card shows the whole charter, boat, crew and fuel, for the hours shown; the menu, the bar and the service are added as their own lines, and corporate hosts get an itemised proposal and invoice. The crew and fuel are paid online to book and the boat balance at the dock. Is the food cooked on the yacht?
With a private chef, yes, on boats with a galley; catering arrives ready to serve. Either way it is set out before you board or served as you cruise.
Can we bring our own wine?
Yes, guests 21 and over. Or let the team arrange the wine list, a bartender and the pairings.
How long is a dinner cruise?
Two and a half to three hours for sunset tapas; three to four for a chef’s table; about two for champagne and dessert.
Can you handle dietary restrictions?
Yes. Vegetarian, pescatarian, gluten-conscious, kosher-style and allergy-aware menus are planned ahead from the notes you send.
How many guests can dine aboard?
Up to 13 on a private yacht. A larger dinner books an inspected event yacht with a dining saloon.
How much does a dinner cruise on a private yacht in Miami cost?
The yacht starts at about $850 for three hours on a boat under 40 ft and about $1,125 on a 55 to 79 ft yacht with a saloon, captain, crew and fuel included. The meal is on its own line: platters and sushi from the catering menu at their listed prices, or a private chef quoted to the party.
