Who Fernando Yemail is

Fernando Yemail founded Feeling Yachty with his father, Alberto Yemail, a veteran yacht captain, and the company is still family-owned. How that company works today, from its docks to its terms, is on who we are at Feeling Yachty.

Before and alongside the charters, he spent more than 15 years in the yacht business, working directly with yacht owners, operators, captains, crews, marinas and local vendors. The company runs on what that work taught: the price on the page before you pay, the dock named on every boat, and a person on the phone on the day of the charter.

Licensed captain and yacht broker

Fernando is a licensed captain and a yacht broker, so he knows a charter from the helm and from the owner’s side of the deal: what a boat can safely carry, what an owner needs from a booking, and what a guest should see before paying. On every Feeling Yachty charter, the captain at the helm is licensed and has the final say, under the rules on the yacht safety protocols page.

What he built

Feeling Yachty books private, captained charters, with a team in Miami and in Panama City. The Miami fleet lists more than 250 boats, each on its own page with its dock and its price for every block of hours; they are all under every yacht rental in Miami. More than 1,200 guests have reviewed the Miami charters on Tripadvisor alone, and every platform guests wrote on is linked from Feeling Yachty reviews.

Feeling Yachty sticks to yachts and yacht experiences. Everything else in the two cities has its own home: he founded Out.Miami and Out.pa, city guides for Miami and Panama City that put restaurants, bars, clubs, beaches and shops on one map and are growing into tours and city experiences run by the same team. He also founded OutMktg, a digital studio in Panama that builds websites and apps and runs search, advertising and automation.

YachtyGuide and common ownership

Fernando writes the “Fernando’s Take” column on YachtyGuide, a boating publication about buying boats, yacht careers and charter operations. YachtyGuide, Out.Miami, Out.pa and Feeling Yachty share an owner, so when one of them mentions another it is a disclosure, not an independent review or an outside endorsement.
