The dates that book first

New Year’s Eve and the Fourth of July go first, often weeks ahead, because every group wants the same evening hours on the water. Long weekends, Thanksgiving and Christmas week, spring break in March and Art Basel week in December fill fast too. A holiday date can be priced differently from an ordinary one, and the hours available are often fixed around the evening; the card and checkout show what applies. Every occasion is on Miami yacht parties.

Halloween on the water

Halloween weekend books like a holiday: costume parties by day at the sandbar, or a skyline run after dark with the city lit up. Costumes are welcome aboard; keep long capes and loose props off the swim platform, leave glass props at home, and make sure everything still lets a life jacket go on. Decorations are booked with the boat as an add-on, and an evening slot on 31 October goes as early as any holiday night.

Fireworks nights

On New Year’s Eve and the Fourth of July, the fireworks are the city’s, not the boat’s: a charter does not include a show of its own, and the captain chooses a safe, legal place to watch from on the night, which depends on the authorities’ closures and the traffic on the water. Ask the team which hours and route are planned for your date, and plan a celebration on board that works wherever the boat ends up.

Plan the party around the confirmed hours

Once the charter window is confirmed, time the catering, the decorations and the black car to it. Holiday dates are busy for suppliers too, so book the add-ons with the boat; see yacht catering in Miami and yacht decorations. Allow extra time to reach the marina: the causeways and Biscayne Boulevard are slow on holiday evenings.

Payment, weather and changes

Each card shows the whole charter, boat, crew and fuel, for the hours shown. The crew and fuel are paid online to book, which holds the boat and the crew for your date; the boat balance is paid at the dock by cash or Zelle. If you cancel, the fuel charge is kept as the deposit and the rest comes back. Charters run rain or shine; if the captain, the marina or the Coast Guard stops a departure for safety, the charter is rescheduled or credited.

Questions

Holiday charter questions

Does a holiday booking include extra entertainment?
Only what is confirmed in your booking. A special date does not change what the charter includes; add a DJ, decor or catering if you want them.
Can we have a Halloween costume party on a yacht?
Yes. Costumes, music and decorations are all fine aboard; no glass and nothing that stops a life jacket going on. Book the evening of 31 October or Halloween weekend early, as you would any holiday.
Can we watch the fireworks from the yacht?
Usually, from wherever the captain can safely and legally hold the boat that night. The exact spot depends on closures and traffic on the water.
How early should we book New Year’s Eve or the Fourth of July?
As early as you can, often several weeks ahead; the evening hours go first.
What happens if the weather turns?
If the captain, the marina or the Coast Guard stops the departure for safety, the charter is rescheduled or credited.
How much does a holiday yacht rental in Miami cost?
Holiday dates carry weekend and holiday rates above the everyday minimums of about $850 for three hours and $1,150 for four on a boat under 40 ft; New Year’s Eve and the 4th of July evening slots are the highest. Each card shows the figure for the date, captain, crew and fuel included.
