Themed Yacht Parties in Fort Lauderdale

Popular themes

All-white

White dress code, white florals, the skyline at dusk; the easiest theme to pull off on a boat.

Tropical and luau

Leis, a rum punch bar and a swim stop at Lake Sylvia.

Great Gatsby

A 55 ft yacht with the flybridge, jazz on the sound system, a bartender in a waistcoat.

90s and 2000s

A DJ with the set list and a neon balloon arch on the aft deck.

Pirate afternoon

For a child’s birthday: flags, eye patches and treasure buried in the cooler; the rules for children are on family yacht rentals.

Decorating a yacht: what works on the water

Balloons tied down, banners on the rails, florals in weighted vases and table settings that clip. Nothing that blows away: no confetti, glitter or loose petals, and no open flames. The decor add-on sets it up before you board.

DJ, lighting and photo booth

The DJ brings deck and speakers; the lighting add-on strings the aft deck for the night; a photographer or a drone is the photo booth. All are chosen when you book, like the rest of the add-ons on Fort Lauderdale yacht events.

What a themed party costs

The boat at the size bands, about $850 for three hours under 40 ft and $1,050 at 40 to 54 ft with captain, fuel at checkout, plus the add-ons you pick: decor set up before boarding, a DJ for the three hours, catering trays or a bartender. A theme on a boat costs what the boat and the extras cost; the theme itself is free.

Brand activations and content shoots

A themed boat with a brand on it is a shoot: the rates and the rules are on photo and film shoots.
